Our Museum Talk
What we discussed in the Oceanside Museum of Art on July 7, plus my proposal on time and supplies:
- For the first time, just get together with our sketchbooks / small surfaces to chat about what we can do next.
- We can have various options to draw from reality like still life setups or views, open landscape or a window view.
- We can sketch each other, either while drawing, or taking turns in being a dressed model for others for 20 minutes.
- In the future, if enough of us are interested, we could invite models and split the cost.
- We could get together on a Sunday afternoon (for the daylight) either outside in Carlsbad on a ranch or in Oceanside, inside.
- The art materials should be adjusted to the location: en plein air outside and non-messy pencils and pens inside, etc.
What else? Text me with suggestions and I'll list them here. If we gather at my place in Oceanside, let's enjoy some fresh fruit as well.
