Before I start, please let me tell you that I am painfully aware that by refusing to discuss fruitarianism in private messages in the recent years and by making it difficult to contact me, I might have lost precious opportunities to get to know wonderful human beings. I hope you will understand me better after this explanation.

On this gray Sunday, April 14 2013, I like to celebrate my 20-year strict high fruit vegetarianism. I switched some time in the beginning of March 1993 (do not remember the exact date, my notebooks were destroyed), but by now, on it must be well over 20 years.
As the author of the site, I feel obliged to provide you with some information about my knowledge, credentials (if any), and the reasons I talk about fruitarianism publically - so you can assess the information I offer more critically.
Hi, my real name is Lena, I founded this site Fruitarians.net in 2010 as an international fruitarian community.
Fruitarianism for me is a quest for optimal ethical ways to live and for all good diets based on fruits and seeds.
I am a long term vegan-fruitarian, who radically changed her lifestyle as a teenager, at 18, and maintained and adjusted it during two following decades. I doubted fruitarianism, but my fruitarian position remains surprisingly strong. This a very short version of my fruitarian story.
