Some folks in my media production class did not know about Creative Commons, so I sent them a few relevant links, and reiterated a few tips on how it might be useful in filmmaking.

Once I mentioned Creative Commons License in the media production class, and promised to send you all some related links, it might help you in the future to find some additional free B-roll elements for your productions, when royalty-free material is not enough.

To use CC videos on youtube it is usually required to attribute it to the owner, and you are allowed to use it commercially with modifications (that you need to describe, if any); there are still some questions about downloading the videos though. The footage to reuse is licensed under CC BY:
