Below, is my introduction to my account on patreon.com/fruitarianlena. I am not sure if anyone would like to support me someday, but at least there is this option.

  • 30bananasaday.com Method Critique 2010

This is my original article 30Bad Method Critique, first published on Fruitarians.net on June 6th 2010, and for which I was blocked from the community by Freelee (see in the end, for misrepresenting banana industry) The old URL was: fruitarians.net/forum/topic/30bananasaday-com-Method.htm

Now, 6 years later, I decided to publish it again, for the history, and because some of the problems were not resolved, and I just found out recently, how bad it became (RawTill4 - sugar drinks as healthy nutrition, people who criticize them being accused in crimes, violence threats, etc.

I edited the text to adopt it to the new site formatting, and to make it more readable. I also needed to remove a few of my sentences, because the discussions, which provided the context for them on 30bananasaday.com, were deleted.

The content of this article: Caloric Model, Amount of Food, Cost of that Quantity of Fruit, Bananas and Dates, 100% Raw, One Bite and You Are Lost, Sleep and Water, Suspension

  • Response to Liberation Pledge

I learned about this DxE pledge on the great channel ModVegan, and commented:

Margaret, this is the first time I hear about this Liberation Pledge (thank you), and I am completely against it.

Positive pear-pressure? They are calling for acts of public disrespect to the participants' closest people! The first result will be alienation of these people from their loved ones, colleagues, and clients, and in deep personal problems.

Your alternative is much better, but every vegan would act this way in most situations anyway. I am a long-term vegan, BTW.

  • Love Emails to Trees

People wrote thousands of love emails to trees

The city of Melbourne assigned trees email addresses so citizens could report problems. Instead, people wrote thousands of love letters to their favorite trees.

To: Golden Elm, Tree ID 1037148, 21 May 2015:

I'm so sorry you're going to die soon. It makes me sad when trucks damage your low hanging branches.

To: Algerian Oak, Tree ID 1032705, 2 February 2015:

Thank you for giving us oxygen. Thank you for being so pretty.

To: Green Leaf Elm, Tree ID 1022165, 29 May 2015:

I don't think that there is much more to talk about as we don't have a lot in common, you being a tree and such. But I'm glad we're in this together.

To: Willow Leaf Peppermint, Tree ID 1357982, 29 January 2015:

Do trees have genders? I hope you've had some nice sun today.

Bacteria and Archaea

Archaea and bacteria (eubacteria) are single-celled organisms that do not have a nucleus or organelles. Archaea have a distinct evolutionary history and biochemistry compared with bacteria.

Archaea - a domain of single-celled microorganisms. These microbes are prokaryotes. Archaea can survive in extreme and harsh environments like hot springs, salt lakes, marshlands, oceans, gut of ruminants and humans.

Bacteria - a large domain of prokaryotic microorganisms. Typically a few micrometres in length, bacteria have a number of shapes, ranging from spheres to rods and spirals. Eubacteria are ubiquitous and are found in soil, hot springs, radioactive waste water, Earth's crust, organic matter, bodies of plants and animals, etc.
