  • After a Swim

This is me on the way back from pool after swimming. This is me, Lena, after the usual 1.5K  swim.

I've been swimming in an open pool for many weeks now, almost every day, almost the same distance - 1.5 kilometers.

  • 8K Run / Walk - Internet, Jumps, Empathy, Being in the Moment Limits

Some thoughts during my morning walk / run: social networks and click-popularity, paying for reaching subscribers on facebook, escaping reality, fruits are not ideal food (there is no ideal food), plants matter regardless whether we can relate to them, alcohol and fast food, limited resources, we need to find ways to live together on this planet.

  • My Sleep and What I Do with Fruit

The second vlog where I point the lens at myself. Just talking. "I eat them" :)

  • 10K Run - Eating Seeds or Fruit Only

Another run; trees; talking about how eating juicy fruit only or adding seeds make me feel on the next days; confirmational bias, health related activities of a day: asanas and a few other exercises in the morning, then shower, and eating in the evening in two-three loads, consuming 1500 food calories; short fastings; energy for brain.

  • Growers Ranch, Orange County

Another local store, Growers Ranch. Checking out my options for fruits and seeds.

  • Grocery Outlet

After watching the last video by okraw about shopping in one of these store around my area (Orange County, California), I went to one location of Grocery Outlet myself, and checked for vegan fruitarian (frugan) options.

  • Growers Direct, Orange County - Fruit Haul

Fruitarian Shopping in a local market in Costa Mesa, California, " Growers Direct," a neat friendly store. I bought Persimmons and watermelons for a few days.

  • 13K Walk / Run To the Ocean and Back

My tiny running story. Construction on the river. On the way back I packed my phone away, ran, and pain almost went away after a kilometer or two.

  • 12K Run / Walk Concrete River

I went for a run/walk up the river this time, met bicyclists.

  • Vlog 16: My Fruitarian Meals, Sorry for my Errors

Hibiscus tee, apologies for the errors in my English, my two white baking plates, fruits (persimmons, apples), seeds (almonds, peanut butter), how and when I eat, recycling in California (SoCal).

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

Nutrient-Dense Food

Nutrient-dense foods are foods that have a lot of nutrients but relatively few calories.

Nutrient-dense foods and beverages contain: vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, and other beneficial substances that may have positive health effects.

They are also naturally lean or low in saturated fat, and have little or no added saturated fat, sugars, refined starches, and sodium.

Examples of nutrient dense foods are: beans and peas, fresh fruit, unsalted nuts and seeds, vegetables, whole grains - most fruitarian foods are nutrient-dense.
