After feeling trapped and controlled by food, weight, and the uncomfortable chaos of calories and nutrition facts, I asked myself, "did humans invent 'fat?'" No animal in the wild is "fat," but instead are sculpted, muscled, and proportionate. What's the difference?
Â
It boils down to the basics: manufactured, un-natural, altered, destroyed, artificial hybrid "foods" not to be find in a natural state- growing from this earth. Food that is created simply to satisfy our sense of taste, casting aside any nutritional value. We are meant to eat that which appeals to us in nature. That which was designed for us long before man invented fire (or French fries). A lion is drawn to raw fresh of gazelles and zebras, cows to hay and grass, and we are to fruit. Bright, colorful, delicious, intense fruits that stimulated each of our senses. It's no wonder that when we began to manipulate and chemically reconstruct that which was already perfect for us, we opened a Pandora's box of other problems.
Â
Buy returning to our instincts, instead of our instruction manuals and cookbooks, and get back to the basics- our own roots. We are not naturally obese, sedentary beings, suffering from devastating sickness and disease. No other creature on this earth shares these misfortunes. We imagined the concept of "fat" when we invented names for dishes and passed on "recipes," let's go back to what we were simply meant to be.
Â
There is no such thing as a "cheeseburger tree."

Aims, Description and RulesAims
DescriptionThe subject of this site is fruitarianism - a quest for optimal basic food, presumably fruit, and for the best ethical and maintainable way to live on this planet. The main thing that unite fruitarians of all kinds is that they consider various fresh ripe edible fruits to be such a good food, that they make them to a main element of their diet, usually from 75% of total caloric intake and up. Normally they complement fruits by seeds, but there are many ways to be a fruitarian - for health, environmental and ethical reasons. We want to gather all fruitarians in one place. If you are a fruitarian, please, represent yourself here (it would take only few minutes). We also invite non-fruitarian folks to support the site, especially scientists, doctors and philosophers) who have something significant to say on the subject. Fruitarians.net is an open independent platform: most information is freely reachable for all internet users without any need for registration. We are not selling anything, there is no hidden agenda behind the project, and it is privately funded and maintained by a fruitarian. It is independent from any ideology or religion. This place is for people who are interested in fruitarianism and who find the subject important enough to express their original or thoughtfully adapted ideas and concepts in a courteous manner, and in a nicely organized environment. We make no difference between people of various backgrounds, genders, ethnicity, income, body shapes and looks, age, philosophical positions, religious believes, sexual behaviors, origin, nationality, etc. Important are your friendliness and your bright mind.
